While developing Perspectrum, I managed several rounds of remote playtesting as we fixed bugs and adjusted the game design to be the best it could be. These occurred after important milestones we set for the development for the game and with Perspectrum, those mostly revolved around the completion of each dungeon area. Each playtester provided unique insight into their experience and got us the closest we could get to seeing the game from a new perspective. There is no saying where our game would be without their input – but having reviewed much of the feedback, I can see specific improvements in the game based on their suggestions – from the design of a lake you couldn’t originally escape to the placement of the spirit fragments in the world to be both rewarding and challenging.
In addition to being listed in our game credits, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank all of our playtesters that worked with us through various stages of the game and helped us improve it to its current state.
Below is screenshot proof we thanked them in game as well!
